Always turn off the power supply from main circuit breaker first!
Fig.1.1: To avoid the possibility of electrical shock, turn off power supply before installation orservicing of this fixture. Remove lens covers from the existing fixture. Remove the fluorescent tubes, existing side cover bracket, ballast, and ballast covers. Mount the supplied Frame bracket along the side of the existing troffer fixtures, as illustrated in the diagram.
Fig.1.2: Repeat above step for mounting the bracket the other side of the troffer fixture. Fig.1.3: Hang the retrofit troffer on the frame bracket by hooking the hinges into the respectiveslots on one of the frame brackets. This is to stabilize the retrofit troffer so you can start connecting all the wires.
Fig.1.4: With the provided self tapping screws, attach the safety cable into the existing fixtureso it protects the troffer from falling down in the course of next installation.
Fig.1.5: Wire the ground with a wire nut. Connect the AC lines to retrofit fixtures.
Fig.1.6: Raise the frame and push up into the existing fixture and close the latches. The latchshould lock into the previously installed frame brackets.
